Tabularasa Perborat + Aktivator

Short description of product

Powder disinfectant concentrate with cleaning action on basis of perborate and TAED. Without aldehydes. By addition of the Aktivator a pH-value of 8.0 is created with peracetic acid as active ingredient.

Fields of use

Hospitals. Specially for the disinfection of instruments and flexible endoscopes. Also suited for the disinfection of surfaces.

Use

Disinfection of instruments and surfaces: 2% (weight) of Tabularasa Perborate and 0.5% (vol.) of Tabularasa Aktivator during 15°C at room temperature. The solution remains active during 24 hours.

Material compatibility

For instruments made of metal, plastic, glass, etc. and flexible endoscopes.

Spectrum of activity

Efficient against:

Gram-negative bacteria as Escherichia coli and Pseudolmonas aeruginosa.

Gram-positive bacteria as   Staphylococcus aureus.

Yeasts as Candida albicans.

Moulds as Trichophyton mentagrophytes.

R36/38: Irritant for eyes and skin.

S22: Do not inhale dust. 26: In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. 28: In case of contact with skin rinse immediately with water.

Composition

Tabularasa Perborat: contains 20% sodium perborate, 15% Tetraacetylethylenediamin (TAED), surfactants, phosphates and corrosion inhibitors.

Tabularasa Aktivator: contains phosphoric acid and corrosion inhibitor.

Environmental behaviour

All components are well biodegradable.

Handling

Store in original containers well closed on a cool and dry place. Can be used for two years after date of production. Please consult safety data sheets for more information.
